Jesus Is The Center

God

Genesis 1:2, 27, Matthew 28:19, John 15:26
We believe in one God, the Creator of all things, revealed to us in the three persons of the Trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus

Luke 1:26-33, Hebrews 7:25, Matthew 1:18
We believe in Jesus Christ, conceived of the Virgin Mary, is the only begotten Son of the Father. He was crucified, buried and rose from the dead. He ascended to Heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as our intercessor.

Bible

2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Hebrews 4:12, Revelation 22:18-19
We believe that the Bible is God's Word. It is accurate, infallible, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives. It is the revelation of God's will and the final authority on the Christian life.

Salvation

Acts 4:12, Romans 10:9-10, John 14:1-6, Ephesians 1:7
We believe every person is disobedient to God's plans in varying degrees. Any disobedience to God, regardless of how large or small, is sin. Sin separates each person from God, which is spiritual death. People can only reconcile to God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ alone. Anyone who believes that Jesus died for our sins, and resurrected to give us new life, can receive the forgiveness of sins and be saved. Upon this personal decision, God promises restoration of that relationship and eternal life.

Eternity

Daniel 12:2; Matthew 25:46; John 5:29; Jude 1:7
We believe those who die outside of Christ will be punished in an eternal Hell, but those who die "in Him" shall share in His glory in Heaven forever.

Prayer

Philippians 4:6-7, James 5:15-16
We believe in the power and effectiveness of prayer, and that it should be a daily part of every believer's life.

Healing

Acts 3:2-12, Acts 5:15-16, James 5:14-15, Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24
We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so we can live healthy and prosperous lives, in body, soul and spirit.

Communion

Luke 22:19-20, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26
We believe in practicing the Lord's supper representing his body that was broken for us and his blood that was shed for our sins. As often as we do this, we remember Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, and His resurrection power.

Water Baptism

Matthew 3:11, Matthew 28:18-19, John 14:6, Acts 8:36-39, Romans 6:4
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit for all of those who have given their life to Jesus Christ and desire to publicly identify with Him.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Matthew 3:11, Acts 2:4, Acts 10:44-46, Acts 19:6, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11
We believe that with the baptism of the Holy Spirit comes the power for life and service. The spiritual gifts given by the Holy Spirit, such as speaking in tongues, prophesy and more, are for ministry to the body of Christ and relevant for today.

Second Coming

Matthew 24:19-31, Acts 1:10-11, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation 1:7, Revelation 19:11-22:21
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised. First to resurrect the righteous dead and the catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on earth for a thousand years.

Marriage

Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 2:24; Leviticus 18:1-30; Romans 1:26-29; 1 Corinthians 5:1, 6:9; 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8, Matthew 19:5-6, Ephesians 5:31-33, Ephesians, 6:1-4, Hebrews 13:4
From birth, God has wonderfully and immutably created each person as male or female. These two genders together reflect the image and nature of God. God instituted marriage between male and female as the foundation of the family, the basic structure of human society, and God has ordained sexual activity to occur exclusively within that union.

Sanctity of Human Life

Genesis 1:27; Leviticus 19:32; Psalm 139:13-16; Proverbs 16:31; Job 12:12; Jeremiah 1:5
All human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of immeasurable worth in all its dimensions, including preborn babies, the aged, the physically or mentally-challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are, therefore, called to defend, protect, and value all human life.

Worship

1 Corinthians 14:33, 40, Hebrews 13:17
We believe in the freedom of worship with every form of expression being done in decency and in order. We define order in our services as following the anointing of the Holy Spirit through the pastoral leadership on the platform.
